Chen, Hongjie is an associate professor of Institute of Software, School of Computer Science. She obtained her M.S and Ph.D. degrees, both in Computer Engineering, from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1999 and 2002 respectively. She has been a faculty of the Department of Computer Science at Peking University since 2002. Her general research interests include software modeling, software engineering supporting environment, Service-Oriented Computing and big data.
Dr. Chen teaches the PKU course Software Engineering for second bachelor degree. she also teaches the PKU course of Basis of Computer Engineering (non-computer major) and Computer Based Project. She is a member of ACM and CCF.
Dr. Chen has participated in many research projects including NSFC, 973 programs, 863 projects etc. From 2002, she served in the Beijing OCOG as a technique expert, and led a research project on the requirements of information system which focused on the complex systems modeling and multiple points of views system modeling method. During the games, she coordinated the operation of the whole technology system as the assistant director of TOC.
In addition, she researched on model driven architecture systems and techniques, mainly including non-functional requirements. Until now, Dr. Chen has published more than 30 research papers in the domestic and foreign journals or conferences, two patents are in publication and grant procedures.
